It’s easy to say “Hire for Attitude—Train for Skills.” It’s much harder to identify insubordinate or criminally dangerous attitudes before putting somebody on the payroll.
The ORION allows employers to gain accurate candidate assessments using a legal profiling tool, enabling them to broach important topics that otherwise would not be addressed in pre-hire interviews.
By rating a series of statements in about 20 minutes, each respondent lets the employer know whether they:
* Follow procedures or make it up as they go along.
* Value a drug-free workplace or think drug use is none of your business.
* Make customers happy or give them good reasons to go elsewhere.
* Take safety seriously or contribute to workplace accidents.
* Work together to get things done or fight amongst themselves.
* Go the extra mile or do as little as possible just to get by.
* Reduce shrinkage or create it.
